Welcome To Hannah, Here and There

Well hello there! My name is Hannah- I’m 24 years old and the woman behind Hannah, Here and There (obviously).

A little about me- I graduated college in spring of 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences education. I’m obsessed with history, so I had always wanted to be a history teacher and believed this would be my career path. However, a full year as a teacher (2021-2022) proved me wrong. It was fulfilling and fun of course getting to share my passion for history and helping kids every day. However, it simply wasn’t what I wanted. I felt overworked, burnt out, disrespected, and honestly? Out of place. I wanted more opportunity for challenge, ambition, growth, and freedom. As the year went on I grew less confident in myself and more unhappy with my life. I knew in my heart that this life was not meant to be mine- I was holding myself back, stifling my ambitions and my creativity. That’s when I decided to quit after one year.

Now, I’m building that confidence back up, figuring out exactly what I do want in my career, and making the most out of life on my terms. What does that mean? Investing in myself a little more every single day- piecing together my personal style, becoming more mindful, traveling more, and taking advantage of all opportunities that come my way. And above all? Taking risks and being unapologetic about what I want for myself.
