Traveling can be incredibly expensive- but did you know there’s a way to do it for free if you’re between the ages of 18-35? Well- you can and it’s easier than you think it is! I’ve earned 3 free international trips and have visited 6+ countries with EF Ultimate Break now- and I want to help you do the same. Here’s how to earn free trips with EF Ultimate Break!
What is EF Ultimate Break?
In case you’ve never heard of EF Ultimate Break before, here’s what it is. EF Ultimate Break is a group travel company for people ages 18-35. They offer planned-for-you trips to hundreds of destinations around the world- all you have to do is sign up for your trip and go! They can arrange flights, hotels, airport transfers, and pretty much anything else you could think of. You’ll be with an expert tour guide who can give you the best experience. Plus, you’ll make some amazing new friends on tour. You can browse their trips + get a discount through this link.
EF Ultimate Break is also an accessible travel option because of their payment plans. When you sign up for an EF Ultimate Break trip, you just need to put $150 down. Then you can pay the rest of it in interest-free monthly installments. I love that aspect of EF Ultimate Break because it’s perfect for any budget. However, there’s still the cheapest way to travel with EF Ultimate Break- for free.
How To Earn Free Trips with EF Ultimate Break
Free travel opportunities is why you’re here- so let’s get into it. There are currently three different ways to earn free trips with EF Ultimate Break:
- Become a Group Coordinator
- Become a Sorority Coordinator
- Become a Brand Ambassador
Out of these three ways of earning free travel with EF Ultimate break, I have earned free travel with two of them: as a sorority coordinator, and as a brand ambassador. The group coordinator is very similar to the ways I’ve earned free trips with EF, so let’s break down what exactly these positions are and how you can earn free international travel with them.
Earn Free Trips as a Group Coordinator for EF Ultimate Break
EF Ultimate Break’s Group Coordinator position is perfect if you already have a group of friends you want to travel with. Here’s how it works:
- Sign up to be a group coordinator here on EF Ultimate Break’s website.
- An EF representative should reach out to you soon to discuss how this works and show you how to best plan your trip.
- You’ll choose which trip you want to go on and book it; EF will send you your own unique link/code you’ll have friends use when booking their trip. Before you choose your trip and get booked, I highly recommend asking any interested friends where they want to go and what months/days are best for them. This ensures that your friends will actually be interested and available for your trip, and you’ll have a much higher chance of securing a free trip for yourself (and a discount for the group).
- Now is the time to sign up your friends! The more people that book, the better.
- Go on your group trip!
Not a bad way to earn free trips with EF Ultimate Break, huh? Not at all! And frankly, there’s no pressure to book a million people on your trip or have to pay full price. EF Ultimate Break actually provides tiered rewards for the group coordinator based on how many people are going. Here’s what that looks like:
6-9 friends: $200 off your trip + $100 off per traveler
10-14 friends: Free trip up to $3k
15-19 friends: Free trip up to $4k
20 or more friends: Free trip up to $5k
The awesome thing about a coordinated group with EF Ultimate Break is that the entire group benefits. With all of the numbers and tiers above, your friends will also earn $200 off their trip. There’s also an option to forgo a free trip for yourself and share a larger discount across the entire group. Depending on how large your group is, you and your friends could all save anywhere from $300-450 on your trip. Let’s move on to the second way you can earn free travel with EF Ultimate Break: Greek Life!
Earn Free Travel as a Sorority or Fraternity Coordinator with EF Ultimate Break
This is the way I earned 2 free trips with EF Ultimate Break! Overall, this method of earning free travel is basically the same as the group coordinator option above. You’ll take the same steps as listed above (except you’ll apply to be a sorority ambassador here). Additionally, the rewards tiers are also the same. The only big differences between a group coordinator and a sorority/fraternity coordinator is that
- It’s designed for you to bring your Greek life friends! Sorority and fraternity sisters and brothers, alum, or any of your other friends. Although it’s designed for sororities and fraternities, people on this trip aren’t required to be in Greek life for them to go if they’d like to, though.
- Your trip options are limited to eight, specially designed trips just for Greek life:
-
- Greeks to Greece
- Greeks to Italy and Greece
- Greeks to Spain
- Greeks to Greece: Athens, Santorini, and Ios
- Greeks to London and Paris
- Greeks to Thailand
- Greeks to the Caribbean
- Greeks to France
Becoming a sorority coordinator was my introduction to traveling with EF Ultimate Break, and I’m so glad I did it! I got to know so many girls from other sororities on my college campus. Unfortunately our trip to Greece was scheduled in 2020, so we didn’t actually get to go together; however, when we all went separately it was a great time. If you have any questions about earning a free trip with EF Ultimate Break as a sorority ambassador, please let me know in the comments below (or via Instagram dm), and I’d be happy to help! Now, let’s get to the last way to earn free travel with EF Ultimate Break: As a brand ambassador.
Earn Free Trips with EF Ultimate Break as a Brand Ambassador
Disclaimer: For this free travel opportunity, you do need to have a). traveled with EF Ultimate Break before, b). have been accepted into their brand ambassador program, and c). public social media accounts. This is the way I earned my third (and almost to my fourth) free trip with EF Ultimate Break and it’s perfect for anyone wanting to get a start in travel blogging or travel UGC. This program is probably the most straightforward of the three: Apply to be a brand ambassador here, then receive your unique $100 off promo code, then promote EF Ultimate Break monthly.
Once 15 people use your code- boom! A free trip. The cool thing is? You’ll also be eligible for ambassador-only retreats and tons of exclusive trip discounts. You may even be able to score exclusive opportunities for free media trips- like I just did with a trip to Morocco! It was an incredible experience getting to go on a free trip with EF specifically to create content for them. While it may be difficult to earn free travel as a brand ambassador if you don’t have a large following on socials, I do think it is absolutely worth becoming one. All of the perks, discounts, and the extra opportunity to earn free travel make it very worth it. Plus, you’ll be able to connect with our EF Ultimate Break ambassadors. I met some on the Morocco trip and we all clicked so well!
Conclusion: How to Earn Free Trips with EF Ultimate Break
